From Biblical times, singing has always been how God’s people have responded to Him and his saving acts (Ex 15). At RLCC we believe that music plays a critical role within God’s church and provides an avenue through which individuals may use their gift to glorify God, and to help the congregation worship Him more effectively.  However, many Christians today have a shallow view of what true worship involves – which is a reason why some congregants end up as mere spectators in a worship service.

True worship is not just singing songs and getting a good feeling in our hearts. Genuine worship is seeing God for who He really is. It is seeing afresh, God’s tremendous worth and, in response, giving Him the best of everything we have.

Everyone who attends our worship services is encouraged to get involved in an expression of worship that focuses on the object of worship (Christ-centred), rather than the human (man-centred) act of worship.
