In Romans 12:5, Paul compares the Church to a human body with many members (parts), each one performing a different function.

In the same way, God has given every Christian a gift or talent to use for the common good of the church and humanity. These gifts include ministries such as administration, encouraging, leading, teaching, compassion and giving.
