Personal Lifestyle

We encourage every member to embrace a lifestyle that is consistent with the Word of God. They should be determined to be ‘a doer’ and not just ‘a hearer’ of the Word.

Personal Spiritual Growth

We encourage every member to seek to break free from all manner of personal and societal limitations, enabling them to embrace and manifest the values of God’s Kingdom. This should be evidenced by the ability to recognise one’s own sinfulness and a desire to die to self in order to live fully for God.

Worship

We encourage every member to embrace worship as a key aspect of our individual and corporate lifestyle. Through ‘Spirit-driven’ and ‘Spirit-inspired’ worship, we honour God in our midst, thus Interacting with His will for the church and the communities around us.

Prayer

Our corporate prayer is both prophetic and governmental in nature, and is the medium through which we receive strength for effective witnessing and ministry.

Word

We possess an abiding willingness to migrate to new levels of understanding in the continuing activities of God in the earth, characterised by our passionate encouragement of individual prayer and study of the Word. 

Servant Ministry

We recognise that God created us to serve, not to be served. This is modelled by Christ in John 13: 2-17 and should be the defining characteristic of every River of Life Community Church member and of the local church as a whole.

Migrating Spiritually

We encourage every member of River of Life Community Church to possess the mentality of being in a constant state of spiritual transition that terminates in an unquestioned surety towards a relevant and deeper encounter with God.

Global Perspective

River of Life Community Church will always be open to more productive and purpose-driven partnerships with kindred ministers and spiritual bodies – local and international.
